La giuria della cinquantunesima edizione di Umoristi a Marostica ha assegnato il Grand Prix Internazionale Scacchiera 2024 a Manuel Lareo (Spagna), il Premio Speciale “Marco Sartore” a Liu Qiang (Cina), il Premio Speciale “Sandro Carlesso” a Angel Ramiro Zapata Mora (Colombia).

Their interpretation of "Silence", the theme of the prestigious edition, convinced the jury chaired by Traxeler Christine, who also awarded the International Humorists Award to Marostica with equal merit. Toso Borkovic (Serbia), Guido Clericetti (Italy), Marco De Angelis (Italy), Lorenzo De pretto (Italy), Goran Divac (Serbia), Mustafa Kurmali (Turkey), Alireza Pakdel (Cyprus), Marlene Pohle (Argentina), Alexander Shmidt (Russia) and Lucio Trojano (Italy).

The jury's verdict comes after a long selection of 535 authors from 72 countries: a particularly generous edition that marks a milestone for the Marostice Graphic Group, promoter of the historic international humorous graphics competition.

The organization is now working on setting up the exhibition of the 51st edition of Umoristica a Marostica at the Upper Castle, in addition to the works of winners, will host a selection of the many works received.

Exhibition opening and inauguration

L’esposizione è visitabile del 4 maggio al 2 giugno 2024 da sabato a domenica, con orario dalle 10.00 alle 12.00 e dalle 15.00 alle 18.00. Inaugurazione sabato 4 maggio alle ore 17.00. Quest’anno l’esposizione si terrà presso le sale del Castello Superiore.
