Their interpretation of "Memory", the theme of the prestigious edition, convinced the jury chaired by Marlene Pohle, who also awarded the International Humorists Award to Marostica with equal merit. Vitaly Bondar (Belarus), Milko Dalla Battista (Italy), Paolo Dalponte (Italy), Agus Harsanta (Indonesia), Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek (Poland), Oleksiy Kustovsky (Ukraine), Flavio Polloniato (Italy), Matias Tejeda (Argentina) , Sergio Tessarolo (Italy), Harinder Singh (India).

La loro interpretazione di “Memory”, tema della prestigiosa edizione, ha convinto la giuria presieduta da Marlene Pohle, che ha assegnato a pari merito anche il Premio Internazionale Umoristi a Marostica a Vitaly Bondar (Bielorussia), Milko Dalla Battista (Italia), Paolo Dalponte (Italia), Agus Harsanta (Indonesia), Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek (Polonia), Oleksiy Kustovsky (Ucraina), Flavio Polloniato (Italia), Matias Tejeda (Argentina), Sergio Tessarolo (Italia), Harinder Singh (India).

The jury's verdict comes after a long selection of 432 authors from 60 countries: a particularly generous edition that marks a milestone for the Marostice Graphic Group, promoter of the historic international humorous graphics competition.

The organization is now working on setting up the exhibition of the 50th edition of Umoristica a Marostica at the Lower Castle, in addition to the works of winners, will host a selection of the many works received.

Exhibition opening and inauguration

Given the exceptional nature of the anniversary, for the exhibition will be created two catalogues, the one relating to the current edition and a publication summarizing the winners from 1969 to today : an invaluable essay on international humorous graphics which, through illustrations, tells half a century of history of the competition which over the years has addressed the most diverse themes. Truly a collector's item.

Saturday 4 June (6pm) in the exhibition hall of the Lower Castle, there will also be a meeting with Alessandro Tich, journalist and member of the jury, on theme “UMORISTORY, Stories and memories about the history of Humorists in Marostica”, with an extraordinary opening of the exhibition until 10.00 pm.

The exhibition can be visited from May 14th to June 19th 2022 from Tuesday to Sunday, with timetable from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00. Opening on Saturday 14 May at 5pm. Free admission.
